Ambassador Support Policy

Version 1.0 · In force since 2026-11-06

Applies to : All members

INTRODUCTION

The Club Roulez Électrique (Club) support program seeks to encourage mutual assistance and the sharing of experience within the electric mobility community by allowing certain members to become Ambassadors and support the people they invite to participate in the Club Roulez Électrique Program (Program).

The Ambassador's role is primarily one of support. Drawing on their experience and knowledge of the Program, Ambassadors help members and their invitees navigate the various stages of their participation in the Program and thereby contribute to the development of a community built on mutual assistance.

This Support Policy (Policy) establishes the conditions for obtaining and maintaining Ambassador status, the benefits that may be associated with that status, and the main commitments and responsibilities it entails.

It is supplemented by the Ambassador Support Guide (Guide), designed as a practical tool to facilitate the Ambassador's role and provide the information, procedures, advice, and resources useful in supporting their invitees.

1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POLICY

The Policy governs Ambassadors' participation in the support program and establishes the rules applicable to obtaining and maintaining their status, the benefits that may be associated with it, and the support provided to members and invitees.

It applies to anyone holding Ambassador status, regardless of the designation assigned to them by Roulez Électrique.

Ambassadors also remain subject to the terms and conditions applicable to their participation in the Program. In the event of a conflict, the specific provisions of this Policy applicable to the support program prevail over the general provisions of the Program.

2. ROLE AND COMMITMENTS OF THE AMBASSADOR

The Ambassador's role is to contribute to the growth of the Club by inviting new members and, above all, supporting them in their participation in the Program.

Ambassadors undertake to provide reasonable support to their invitees, particularly during registration, the selection and connection of their charging station, and their initial steps in the Program. They also remain available to help invitees who subsequently encounter difficulties related to their participation in the Program, to the extent permitted by the Ambassador's availability and knowledge.

Ambassadors provide this support within the limits of their knowledge and experience. They are not required to possess technical, legal, tax, or regulatory expertise or to resolve problems beyond their knowledge. In such cases, they consult the Guide, the FAQ, or other resources made available to them and, where necessary, refer the member or invitee to Roulez Électrique or seek assistance from another Ambassador. Ambassadors are also encouraged to help one another, share their experience and knowledge, and contribute, in a spirit of cooperation, to supporting members and invitees.

Ambassadors remain free to determine the time and effort they devote to their role, subject to their commitment to provide reasonable support to their invitees and to comply with the Policy and the Guide.

Ambassadors act in their own name. Their status does not make them employees, mandataries, agents, representatives, or partners of Roulez Électrique, nor does it give them any authority to make commitments on its behalf.

3. SUPPORT GUIDE

Roulez Électrique makes an Ambassador Support Guide (Guide) available to Ambassadors. It is designed to facilitate their role by bringing together the information, procedures, advice, and resources useful for supporting members and their invitees.

Ambassadors undertake to familiarize themselves with the Guide, consult it as needed, and comply with both its letter and its spirit in carrying out their role. They are also responsible for keeping themselves reasonably informed of changes to the Program relevant to their role.

Roulez Électrique may amend the Guide from time to time, particularly to reflect changes in the Program, the platform, the features available to Ambassadors, eligible charging stations, technical procedures, and support practices. Significant changes are brought to the attention of Ambassadors by a means deemed appropriate by Roulez Électrique.

The Guide may also contain tips, recommendations, practical suggestions, and other information intended to facilitate the Ambassador's role. The Guide distinguishes these elements from the rules, procedures, and instructions that Ambassadors are required to follow.

4. AMBASSADOR STATUSES AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The support program has two statuses: Ambassador and Gold Ambassador. The conditions for obtaining each status are established by Roulez Électrique and may differ depending on how the member participates in the Program.

Roulez Électrique may limit or suspend access to the support program or to certain statuses based, in particular, on the growth of the Program, the capacity of the platform, and members' support needs.

Participation in the support program as an Ambassador is voluntary. Ambassador status is assigned automatically once a member meets the applicable eligibility requirements, but the member remains free to accept or decline participation in the support program. To participate, the member must agree to comply with this Policy. The member may also continue to participate in the Program as a member without serving as an Ambassador.

Before Ambassador or Gold Ambassador status is granted, the member must confirm that they wish to become an Ambassador and accept this Policy, including the commitment it sets out regarding the Guide. Acceptance is provided through the mechanism established for that purpose on the platform or by any other means made available by Roulez Électrique.

To obtain Ambassador or Gold Ambassador status, the member must have at least one eligible, operational charging station associated with their account and connected to the Program, with which at least 1 kWh of eligible charging has been recorded.

4.1 Ambassador

A member whose charging station was not purchased from Roulez Électrique may obtain Ambassador status when at least 2,500 kWh of eligible charging are recorded in their account under the Program during the calendar year in which they become eligible for that status. To maintain their status, they must also reach this threshold in each subsequent calendar year.

4.2 Gold Ambassador

A member may obtain Gold Ambassador status:

a\) by adding to their account an eligible charging station purchased from Roulez Électrique and meeting the other applicable conditions; or

b\) by paying the non-refundable fee of $250, plus applicable taxes, established for obtaining this status and meeting the other applicable conditions.

Gold Ambassador status may therefore be obtained without previously holding Ambassador status or reaching the 2,500 kWh threshold applicable to that status.

4.3 Assignment of status

Roulez Électrique may verify the information available to it and request any information or documents reasonably necessary to confirm that the member meets the applicable conditions. Where eligibility is based on charging data, the data recorded by the platform are used to determine whether the applicable criteria have been met.

When Roulez Électrique determines that the required conditions have been met and the member has confirmed their acceptance in accordance with this Policy, it assigns the applicable status. Obtaining a status provides access to the benefits then associated with it, subject to the Policy, the Guide, and the terms of the Program.

5. MAINTAINING AMBASSADOR STATUS

To maintain their status, Ambassadors must remain members of the Program, maintain at least one eligible, operational charging station connected to the Program and associated with their account, and continue to meet the conditions applicable to their status.

To remain active users of the Program themselves and retain practical experience with home charging, Ambassadors must also, during each full calendar year following the year in which they obtain their status:

a\) complete at least 10 eligible charging sessions using one or more charging stations associated with their account; and

b\) record at least 250 kWh of eligible charging using those stations.

Both conditions must be met. They apply in addition to the annual threshold set out in section 4.1, where applicable.

Like any member, an Ambassador undertakes to participate in the Program for the whole calendar year, through December 31, in accordance with the applicable terms.

Roulez Électrique periodically verifies compliance with these conditions. When an Ambassador no longer meets one of them, Roulez Électrique may notify the Ambassador and, where circumstances warrant, grant a reasonable period to remedy the situation.

Roulez Électrique may also take into account particular circumstances that have temporarily prevented an Ambassador from meeting the minimum activity requirements, including the replacement or failure of a charging station, a move, or any other situation it considers reasonable.

Failure to meet the conditions for maintaining status may result in its suspension or revocation and the loss of associated benefits, in accordance with the Policy.

6. BENEFITS AND POINTS

Ambassador status provides access to the benefits that Roulez Électrique associates with the support program. These benefits may vary according to the Ambassador's status and are specified in the Guide or other official Program communications.

Ambassadors may, in particular, accumulate Roulez Électrique Points (Points) based on eligible charging sessions completed by their invitees, in accordance with the rates, criteria, and other terms then in effect.

The awarding of Points is conditional on the eligibility of the charging station and charging sessions concerned, as well as the continued association between the invitee and their Ambassador. Associating a member or invitee with an Ambassador does not make a charging station or charging session eligible if it would not otherwise be eligible under the Program.

Associating an invitee with an Ambassador gives the Ambassador no rights over the invitee's Points, charging data, charging station, account, or participation in the Program.

Points displayed in an Ambassador's account remain subject to the validations, corrections, or adjustments provided for under the Program. Their conversion is also subject to the conditions applicable at the time conversion is requested.

Roulez Électrique may change the benefits associated with Ambassador status, as well as the rates, criteria, and other terms for awarding Points, from time to time. These benefits and terms do not constitute vested rights for the future. Any changes apply prospectively, subject to the validations, corrections, or adjustments provided for under the Program.

7. RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT OF THE AMBASSADOR

In carrying out their role, Ambassadors act responsibly, courteously, transparently, and respectfully. They respect the choices of members and invitees and refrain from exerting undue pressure.

Roulez Électrique supports the electrification of transportation and the development of electric vehicle charging, both public and private, including services offered by its competitors. Roulez Électrique also respects other carbon credit programs implemented under the Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR). In this spirit, Ambassadors must respect competitors and refrain from any statements or conduct intended to disparage a competitor, its products, its services, or its carbon credit program. Roulez Électrique applies a zero-tolerance policy to such conduct.

Ambassadors must not solicit a member or invitee already associated with another Ambassador with the aim of having that association changed for their own benefit, unless no eligible charging station has yet been activated under the Program or no eligible charging session has been recorded in the member's account. Any solicitation must nevertheless remain respectful, transparent, and free from undue pressure.

Ambassadors respect the privacy and confidentiality of members and their invitees. They must never request, collect, or retain their passwords, authentication codes, or other information allowing access to their accounts with the Club, a charging station manufacturer, or any other service, except through features of the Club's application that allow such information to be requested and temporarily obtained solely to provide technical assistance, in accordance with procedures established by Roulez Électrique.

When the platform gives Ambassadors access to information about their invitees, they use it solely to provide support and preserve its confidentiality. They do not disclose it to any third party, except with the express consent of the person concerned or where required or permitted by law.

Ambassadors use their status, Referral Link, and the tools made available to them in accordance with their intended purposes, the Policy, and the Guide. They refrain from any deceptive or abusive practices or practices likely to cause harm to members, other Ambassadors, the Club, the Program, or Roulez Électrique.

8. COMMUNICATIONS AND REPRESENTATIONS BY THE AMBASSADOR

In communications concerning the Club, the Program, or their role, Ambassadors provide, to the best of their knowledge, accurate and up-to-date information consistent with the official information provided by Roulez Électrique. They make no false or misleading statements or statements likely to create a mistaken impression about how the Program works, the benefits associated with it, or the results that may arise from it.

Disclosure of referral-related benefits

When promoting the Program or sharing their Referral Link, Ambassadors must clearly disclose that they may accumulate Points or receive other benefits related to their invitees' participation in the Program. This disclosure must be readily visible and understandable, without any requirement to specify the rate at which Points are awarded. (See the examples of acceptable disclosures in the Support Guide.)

Ambassadors do not present Points as wages, compensation, or guaranteed income, and do not guarantee their accumulation, their value, or any benefits that may result from participation in the Program.

Ambassadors ensure that they do not give the impression that they speak on behalf of Roulez Électrique or possess any authority arising from their Ambassador status.

Ambassadors may use only the name, trademarks, logos, and other visual elements expressly made available to Ambassadors by Roulez Électrique, solely for the purposes of their role and in accordance with the Guide and other instructions communicated to them. They may not alter these elements without prior authorization from Roulez Électrique, acquire no rights in them, and must cease or modify their use at Roulez Électrique's request.

The rules and practices applicable to communications, particularly regarding preferred terminology, use of the Referral Link, social media, and promotional communications, are specified in the Guide.

9. ASSOCIATION WITH AN AMBASSADOR AND CHANGING AMBASSADORS

A member who uses an Ambassador's Referral Link is associated with that Ambassador. This association enables the Ambassador, in particular, to support the member through the various stages of participation in the Program.

For the purposes of the Policy, the Referral Link means the link or any other means provided or recognized by Roulez Électrique that identifies an Ambassador and associates a member with that Ambassador. An invitation sent by email, QR code, or any other means allowing such identification and association also constitutes use of the Referral Link.

9.1 Before the first eligible charging session

As long as no eligible charging session has been recorded, a member may change their association themselves, once only, to select another Ambassador, using the feature provided for that purpose on the platform, unless the association results from a purchase made with an Ambassador's promotional code.

The member may also ask Roulez Électrique to change or cancel that association when they cannot do so themselves or when circumstances warrant.

9.2 From the first eligible charging session onward

As soon as a member associated with an Ambassador completes their first eligible charging session, they become an invitee of that Ambassador.

From that point onward, the association is maintained, and the feature allowing members to change Ambassadors themselves is no longer available. The invitee may be associated with another Ambassador only in the circumstances set out below.

9.3 Transfer at the Ambassador's request

An Ambassador may ask Roulez Électrique to transfer one of their invitees to another Ambassador. The transfer is carried out with the agreement of the invitee, the current Ambassador and the new Ambassador and takes effect in accordance with the terms determined by Roulez Électrique.

From the transfer date onward, eligible charging sessions completed by the invitee may result in Points being awarded to the new Ambassador under the terms then in effect. All Points already accumulated in relation to that invitee's charging sessions are also transferred to the new Ambassador, subject to the terms of the Program.

An Ambassador may also ask Roulez Électrique to terminate the association with an invitee without obtaining the invitee's consent. In that case, the invitee is automatically transferred to Roulez Électrique, which then assumes the role of Ambassador for that invitee. This transfer takes effect in accordance with the terms determined by Roulez Électrique and results in the forfeiture of all Points accumulated by the Ambassador in relation to that invitee's charging sessions, including Points accumulated before the transfer.

9.4 Reassignment by Roulez Électrique

Roulez Électrique may, in exceptional circumstances, reassign an invitee to another Ambassador when warranted, particularly in the event of an Ambassador's departure, death, incapacity, suspension, or loss of status, fraud, an operational problem, or when the Ambassador is no longer able to provide reasonable support to the invitee.

When a difficulty concerns the support provided by an Ambassador, Roulez Électrique may contact the Ambassador to allow them to provide explanations and, where appropriate, remedy the situation before proceeding with a reassignment.

This possibility of reassignment does not give the invitee any right to demand a change of Ambassador.

10. RECOMMENDED AMBASSADORS AND PROMOTIONAL CODES

10.1 Recommended Ambassador

Roulez Électrique may recognize as a Recommended Ambassador a Gold Ambassador who meets the criteria established for that purpose and demonstrates the quality of the support they provide, particularly through evaluations submitted by their invitees.

A Gold Ambassador wishing to become a Recommended Ambassador must complete their profile and submit it to Roulez Électrique. The eligibility criteria, approval process, and information that may appear in their public profile are specified in the Guide.

Once approved, the Recommended Ambassador's profile may be featured in the public directory made available to people wishing to choose an Ambassador to support them.

Recognition as a Recommended Ambassador is a benefit associated with Gold Ambassador status and may be suspended or withdrawn in accordance with the criteria and terms then in effect.

10.2 Promotional code

A Recommended Ambassador may be authorized by Roulez Électrique to use a promotional code allowing a person they support to receive a benefit when purchasing an eligible charging station from Roulez Électrique. This code must be used at the time of purchase and cannot be applied retroactively. The Ambassador is responsible for informing the person they are supporting of this requirement before the person makes the purchase.

Eligible use of this code may also result in Points being awarded to the Recommended Ambassador, in accordance with the rates, criteria, and terms then in effect.

The promotional code is a support tool. The Recommended Ambassador must use it in accordance with the Guide and Roulez Électrique's instructions, particularly regarding how it is communicated, its use at the time of purchase, and the support provided to the person using it.

The promotional code is a privilege associated with recognition as a Recommended Ambassador. The Recommended Ambassador is responsible for its use in accordance with the Policy, the Guide, and Roulez Électrique's instructions. Roulez Électrique may modify, suspend, or withdraw this privilege or its associated benefits if the applicable conditions are not respected or when circumstances warrant.

11. SUSPENSION, REVOCATION, AND VOLUNTARY RELINQUISHMENT OF AMBASSADOR STATUS

11.1 Voluntary relinquishment

Ambassadors may relinquish their status at any time, following the procedure set out in the Guide. Relinquishing their status does not end their participation in the Program as a member.

Once their relinquishment takes effect, they cease to receive the benefits associated with Ambassador status, and their Referral Link is deactivated. They must also cease presenting themselves as an Ambassador and using any trademarks, logos, visual materials, or other elements they were permitted to use because of that status. Roulez Électrique may reassign their invitees to one or more other Ambassadors so that those invitees can continue to receive support.

11.2 Suspension or revocation of status

Roulez Électrique may suspend or revoke an Ambassador's status, particularly when the Ambassador:

a\) no longer meets the conditions for maintaining their status;

b\) fails to comply with the Policy, the applicable provisions of the Guide, or the terms of the Program;

c\) substantially or repeatedly fails to fulfill their commitment to provide reasonable support to their invitees;

d\) makes inappropriate use of their status, Referral Link, a promotional code, or the tools made available to them;

e\) provides false or misleading information about the Program; or

f\) engages in fraudulent or abusive conduct or other conduct likely to cause harm to the Club, the Program, Roulez Électrique, a member, an invitee, or another Ambassador.

11.3 Intervention and corrective action

Where circumstances permit, Roulez Électrique informs the Ambassador of the issue identified and gives them an opportunity to provide explanations or remedy the situation within a reasonable period.

Roulez Électrique may, however, immediately suspend the status, Referral Link, or certain benefits when it considers immediate action justified by the nature or severity of the situation.

Measures taken take into account, in particular, the nature of the breach, its severity, its recurrence, and any particular circumstances.

11.4 Effects of suspension or revocation

During a suspension, Roulez Électrique may suspend the Referral Link and all or some of the benefits associated with the status and, where circumstances warrant, reassign some or all of the Ambassador's invitees in accordance with the Policy.

If the status is revoked, the Referral Link is deactivated, and Roulez Électrique may reassign the former Ambassador's invitees in accordance with the Policy.

Points already displayed or awarded in the Ambassador's account remain subject to the terms of the Program and may undergo the validations, corrections, or adjustments provided for under those terms. Eligible charging sessions completed by former invitees after the revocation takes effect no longer result in Points being awarded to the former Ambassador.

Suspension or loss of status does not confer any right to reinstatement. Roulez Électrique may, however, allow a former Ambassador to submit a new application when they meet the conditions then in effect.

12. AMENDMENTS TO THE POLICY AND SUPPORT PROGRAM

Roulez Électrique may amend this Policy and the conditions and terms of the support program from time to time, particularly to reflect changes in the Program, its activities, the platform, the technologies used, or applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Roulez Électrique makes the current version of the Policy available to Ambassadors. Any significant amendment is brought to their attention by a means deemed appropriate and takes effect on the date indicated in the notice or in the new version of the Policy.

Once an amendment takes effect, Ambassadors who continue participating in the support program must comply with the Policy as amended.

13. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF THE SUPPORT PROGRAM

Roulez Électrique may suspend or terminate the support program when circumstances warrant, particularly due to a legal or regulatory change, a technological or operational constraint, or any other circumstance significantly affecting its operation or viability.

Where possible, Roulez Électrique informs Ambassadors within a reasonable period of any suspension or termination of the support program and the resulting arrangements.

During a suspension, Roulez Électrique may, in particular, suspend the awarding or conversion of Points, the use of Referral Links and promotional codes, or certain features made available to Ambassadors.

If the support program is terminated, all Ambassador statuses end, as does any recognition as a Recommended Ambassador. Referral Links and promotional codes may be deactivated, and benefits associated with the support program cease in accordance with the terms then in effect.

Suspension or termination of the support program does not, in itself, terminate members' and invitees' participation in the Program.

14. GENERAL PROVISIONS

The Policy supplements the terms and conditions applicable to the Program and must be read together with those terms and conditions and the Guide.

Roulez Électrique's failure to immediately exercise any right or remedy provided for under the Policy does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

If any provision of the Policy is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

The Policy is governed by the laws in force in Québec and the applicable laws of Canada.
